Education is a passion for Dominique. She comes from a long line of educators and it is in her blood to share knowledge. She offers Continuing Education for Massage Therapist, Certified Doulas and anyone in the general public interesting in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Pre and Perinatal Issues and Birth Education. Her teachings are rich with information pertaining to the Living Physiology and are founding in sound scientific research that is rarely available to the mainstream. Dominique offers both Group Classes and smaller One-on-One courses upon request. She has been teaching since 2009.

The Fluid Dynamics of Craniosacral Therapy: A Fundamental Course | 30 CE’s

This course presents a unique understanding of Fluid Dynamics within the Craniosacral System. We will go beyond more mechanical approaches in craniosacral therapy by emphasizing the energy dynamics and processes that organize body functions. The foundations of biodynamic craniosacral philosophy will be described as well as an integration of craniosacral techniques and anatomy for reawakening the healing potential within us all.

This effective approach to bodywork encourages healing when there is challenges to health and happiness such as injury, pain, illness or trauma. The Health and Breath of Life is profoundly connected to the cranium, spine, pelvis and nervous system tissues through our intricate facial system which will be explained in detail. This approach takes you into the heart of the therapeutic process and how to return the body to a greater relationship to the inherent health.

Exploring the Abdomen and Organ System: Balancing Visceral Dynamics | 20 CE’s

This course is geared to familiarize the practitioner with the dynamics of the organ and visceral system. The fundamentals taught will explain Visceral Manipulation through an integrative approach. We will begin the seminar with basic Biodynamic principles by orienting to the craniosacral tides, in order to heightening palpation and listening skills. Students will be acquainted with an in-depth analysis of anatomy and physiology. Come learn how to evaluate the connection between the musculoskeletal system and the organs. The intention of the course is to teach clinical applications to the Myofascial tissue that lie within the abdominal cavity while integrating the work with Mayan Abdominal Massage. The concept of organ motility (the inherent motion) will be discussed. Participates will be able to demonstrate how to treat restrictions in the visceral system as it relates to symptoms of pain and dysfunction.

About the Instructor

Dominique Clothiaux a Licensed Midwife and has studied Functional and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy since 2005 and is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist® with the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America. Along with midwifery care she offers Manual Therapy to release deep tensions around the central nervous system. Her work gently enhances and restores wellbeing in both physical and emotional health. Dominique is intrigued with the dance between living physiology and the body’s innate ability to access its own Inherent / Primal Healing processes. Trusting the physiological ‘Fluid Tides’ is paramount to Dominique’s approach to bodywork. She has been teaching since 2009 and has conducted thousands of Craniosacral sessions throughout her career since 2004. She is an Approved Continuing Education Provider with the National Certification Board of Massage and Bodywork.
